SWATer's Buddy helps Soil & Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) users easily update SWAT parameters mostly for calibration purposes. The graphic user interface developed by VB.Net helps users manage SWAT files with minimum effort. This program works for "TEXT" based SWAT input files such as *.hru, *.sub, *.sol, etc. To manipulate database files (*.mdb), use SWATeditor.

Instruction:
1. Download the application to your computer.
2. No installation needed, just run it.
3. As you run the program, the path (named SWAT Folder) shows the current path. Browse to where SWAT files are located.
4. Click on "OK" button, then a list of subbasin files (*.sub) will be listed on the left of "Select subbasins".
5. Select one or multiple subbasins to modify by either double clicking on each item or press the green right arrow button.
6. Click on SWAT parameters to select for change.
7. Press the blue "RUN" button to run it.
8. The red "EXIT" button terminates the program.
9. If you have any question, suggestion or request, come back to this website by clicking on Emily's picture on the lower left corner of the dialog box.
For those who are interested in VB.Net code development , I am willing to share the source code. For your information, this program is developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express which is FREE software. Add a comment with your email address for further assistance.
